Power steering has no cap?

Hi,

I took my car to the mechanic. I somehow have no cap now on my power steering reservoir. Ordered one online today. Won't arrive for a week. Just wondering what I should do in the meantime. Leave it or try to cover it with something.
Any thoughts?

Hi Alex,

I am sorry to hear that, I would try to cover it to keep the dust out which can cause issues. Try to use some plastic with a rubber band? Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.
