I replaced my power steering pump and the power steering hose that goes to the rack and for the first few days it worked great, but now it is hard to turn and it is making parking and turning very difficult, it is easier to turn while applying pressure on the gas pedal. is there any knowledge you could tell me to address this issue? any advice would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

You could have gotten a bad power steering pump. There is a lot of bad parts out there these days. Without doing a pressure test it is hard to say for sure.
