The past week I had some stalling happening while on idle (engine was warm and temperature was -2). I replaced the fuel filter and that seemed to do the job for 2 days. On the third day it was losing power, especially when uphill and decreasing gears didn't seem to help a lot. Since then, I replaced MAF and MAP sensor, one at a time when I did the MAF it drove as should for about 30 miles, I turned the van off for an hour and then it would start to lose power again. Nothing seemed to change when I replaced the MAP after that happened. I get no error codes neither from my OBDII scanner or forscan (at least anything that might seem related). Any idea what could cause it?

Is this a diesel engine euro car? We don't have this in the US until 2009 and it's a non turbo. If it is a gasoline engine, I would check the primary catalytic converter. This guide can help, and I have included the cat system in the images below. When the primary catalytic converter falls apart it will clog the outlet with the catalyst material causing low engine power.

This guide may help as well:

Can I ask what the codes are anyway? Please go over these guides and get back to us.

Hello Ken, no it's a UK version 2008 Ford Transit diesel 2.2 with turbo, I don't receive any codes or lights, I plugged it in with forscan but nothing related or OBDII codes found.

Yep, it sounds like the turbo could be going out, I would disassemble the inlet or outlet pipe from the turbo to check the engine play of the turbo shaft, if more than about .030 the turbo is bad. If you have a question about the play upload a short video so I can see and confirm the failure.
