Battery light flashed then it shut off?

Car had been making squeaking noise from the serpentine belt area. Battery light flashed then it shut off on me yesterday. I put a new battery in today and my car wouldn't stay started. Battery light still on after trying to reset it. Harmonic Balancer is a little wobbly when I start my car. Should I replace the alternator or the harmonic balancer.

If the battery light is on, then the alternator is not charging the battery. here is how to change the alternator out in the images below. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.
