Power door does not have power

Hi,

I attached the wiring schematic below for the vehicle. Are you checking the orange wire at the door switch (right rear) for battery voltage? That is the wire that is the power supply. Since you get power to the right front, it isn't the circuit breaker. If you are checking the orange wire, there has to be an issue with the wire itself or the connectors.

With the connector at the switch disconnected, confirm power at the orange wire and let me know if that is what you have already done or the results.

Yes, I am testing at the RR Door switch on the orange wire. That's where I was getting only 1-2v at. I used both a body ground and the ground wire in the connector and received the same results. With a tester light there is no light on the orange wire at all. I don't know where the break in the wire would be unfortunately. I've also tried another switch and motor/regulator assembly before finding out that I had improper voltage at the switch on the door. What would cause it to only have 1-2v on that wire instead of 12v or none? I'm at a loss on that.

Also, where do you find your Schematics for this stuff? I have looked all over and can't find anything like these anywhere.

We get the schematics from Alldata and Pro Demand. They are both online, but there is a fee to use them. Both are excellent.

As far as the power issue is concerned, since you have some voltage, it could be a connector or something corroded. What I would do at this point is to check the power at the circuit breaker. Have you tried that?
