Hi, when I start my Mazda Bongo Friendee cold in the morning this is what happens:

1. All 3 fans running. Fan2, Fan3 and Scavenger Fan.
2. Glow plug Relay doesn't operate.
3. Aircon compressor doesn't start.
4. Automatic gearbox in limp mode doesn't change to fourth gear.

What I have done is:
1. Service engine, oil and filters.
2. Oil change Automatic Transmission.
3. New Engine Coolant Temperature Censor. ECT.
4. Engine Temp censor to Dashboard is 100%.
5. Aircon gas is 100%.
6 If you pull Fan fuses next to Mains and Add Fan fuse, they stop operating.

We need to do a CAN scan for codes to see what's going on, also has the car had any water damage? You can get a CAN scanner from Amazon for about $30.00. here is a video to show you how.

Here is a scanner link:

Let's remove the electrical connector from the ECU and check for moisture. Also, you can try a hard system reboot by holding the negative battery cable to the positive battery terminal for 1 minute, this will discharge the system memory capacitors and let the system reboot. Please let us know what happens.

Last question, at what water temperature should the 2 radiator fans start running? I found my normal driving temperature was around 75 degrees. Both my fans run with A/C on so that's fine.

Hi, if you don't mind me asking was the problem intermittent or permanent? We have a van with the same symptoms, however occasionally it will start normally but overheat - could it be the TCM, or something connected to it?
