1974 Porsche Hood Latch

The front hood latch is stuck. The front hood was forced down and so it is sprung a little keeping it from opening when latch is released from inside the car. I need an idea how to open the hood

Hi there, try having someone hold a little pressure done on the bonnet (hood) while you pull the latch, this often works for faulty bonnet latches i see at work.
