There is approx 200 things that will make the check engine light come on.The most common is a loose or missing gas cap,air mass sensor,or catalytic converter.A trip to your local dealer can tell you what the fault is. The car may be still under the 4yr 50,000 mile warranty,but you'll have to take it to a dealer for that.
