1999 Porsche Boxster Broken Drive Belt

Based on my research of the situation. It appears that I have a broken drive belt. Can you give me an idea of how much this repair will cost. Also, I was less than 5 mile from home with the battery light and abs lights came home indicating that there was a problem. I drove it to my home rather than stopping on the side of a busy freeway, could I have hurt the engine. It did not appear to be over heated!!!!!

Usually belts break for a reason. Each pulley needs to be examined for an anomally. The cost weill be dependent on the source of the problem,and the shop that repairs it.
