1986 Porsche 944 Steeing rack gone bad?

Steering problem
1986 Porsche 944 Two Wheel Drive Manual

Here is where I am leaking power steering fluid out of the Steering Rack. It looks like the hole is threaded and may be missing a plug but there was a black gasket/plug/seal in this hole before and it didn't leak at all before (ok...maybe a drop or two)

Any info on this situation would be Greatly Appreciated!!!
