1985 Porsche 911 location of oil temperature sending unit

I am replacing my oil temp guage with one that has actual nunmbers and the sending unit as well, do not know where the sending unit is llocated, looked on engine and only found oil pressure sending unit, can you help?

Hi there,

It is located on the rear of the engine on the oil inlet cover, there is no pic available sorry.
