Just received vehicle had mild popping noise in front end both sides when turning wheels on slow speed and stop. Husband has replaced shocks. But now problem seems to have worsened not better. Sealed boots for greasing, not sure what to look at next. Everything seems to be intact not worn out (tie rods and such) if you were to lubricate suspension system (going try to see if noise popping goes away).
Where would you start, which lube. Silicon or lithium and why?
Thank you.

Hey KRISTINE ISKIERKA,

With the vehicle stationary turning the steering all the way left to right lock to lock you get this noise?

Hey KRISTINE ISKIERKA,

Whilst stationary if you can get someone to operate the steering lock to lock and check for the source of noise.

If you put your hand on the front strut top mounting under the hood you should be able to feel the popping though the mount.

I suspect you have one or both bad front strut top mounts.

Check both sides and compare.

Let me know the result.

Hope that helps if you need any more information let me know.

Regards, Joe
