Popped tire, steep dealership price?

Hi, I popped a tire on my vehicle listed above V and immediately had roadside put it on a flatbed and take it to the dealership. They quoted me $1,000 to change the oil and replace two tires. I wasn't sure if two needed to be replaced with such low mileage, only around 8,500. The tires are $300-$350 each and just wanted to make sure I wasn't being taken advantage of.

I suspect that one hit debris and failed while the other hit the debris and was just damaged to the point that it will fail. The V uses a very high-performance tire because of the weight and power in that vehicle, they are not a common tire in size or ratings. The cost is about right.

only the first one hit anything, very low speed pulling into a driveway and caught the corner of their curb. others aren't damaged, the guy just said about the alignment.

That would still make sense. You want the tires on each axle to match to reduce wear and not alter the vehicle. At least the GM AWD systems can tolerate having slightly different sizes. If that was one of the imports like an Audi or Subaru you would be replacing all 4 because they are very tight when it comes to tire sizes.
