Need help flushing enjectors and throttle body

the pcm went out and is covered because of problems they have had. But the service manager said that the needs to have the injectors and throttle body needs to be flushed to have engine run right. Of course at an extra cost. Is this really necessary?

Probably not, but they will most likely blame any future problems on the fact you did not have it performed.

If it's a reasonable cost (under $200), I would probably let them do it, if more than that, I would argue that the faulty PCM caused the problem and should be included in the PCM replacement.

Most likely they are trying to make a few bucks on a warranty (which they don't make anything extra on).
