how can I find a good repair shop to replace the front springs which are shot? It bottoms out on the littlest bump. The shocks I can replace myself.

Is there a specific type of auto repair I should look for?

It's easy to replace you're front springs you'reself if you live in Canada you can go to Canadian Tire go to the parts Dept. ask them for a coilspring compresser all it will cost you is a downpayment of say 20-30 dollars and when you bring the tool back you get every cent back . That way it saves you a couple hundred dollars and it is also done safley but if you don't want to do it then the best thing to do is shop around at any garage , you don't need a place that is suppose to speciallise in doing front springs it will cost you twice as much to do the same job .
