After taking my son home one evening last month, our transport had run out of gas. Our gas gauge works when the tank is full, after you get close to half a tank it reads past full. Well after we had run out of gas, we had someone bring us a new gas can (5. gal) full of fuel.
We drove home but the van would lose power as you try to accelerate. When we first bought this van used it ran great. But after the day we ran out of gas the problem of losing power would come and go. Seems to be worse when the weather has been very hot.
What could i do myself to fix this problem?
The transport is in nearly mint condition despite some paint scraped off the hood by the previous owners.
