how do i remove an alternater. we have taken off the power cords and removed the top bolt but cant get it out

Hello

When you say you can't get it out and you removed the top bolt. If I understand you correctly, did you remove the other bolts as well? Or, have removed all bolts but can not remove it from the vehicle because something is blocking it.
