I recently changed out the 3.2 OHV motor a 98 Sunfire. The replacement 3.2 OHV had no EGR tube between the intake and the head, leaving an electrical connection with nowhere to plug in. Car runs, but the 'check engine' light is always on, and it gets worse gas mileage now. I can not see how the newer engine recirculates the exhaust gas. What can I plug into that electrical connection to tell the computer what it wants to hear?

Take the connector off the old engine and install on the new one!
