I am in need of some advice. I currently have a 1996 Pontiac Sunfire, which has a bad starter. It has around 140,000 miles on it, which a 2.2 liter engine i believe. I am an ametuer mechanic at best, but do not have the means to have it towed somewhere to get fixed or know anybody who can fix it for me by when I need it, which is tomorrow. Im fairly certain that I understand the general procedure for changing the starter. I disconnected the battery, disconnected the wires going to it, but when I took out what I thought were the only bolts holding it in (two, which would be on the drivers side of the car), it would not come out. I then noticed two small bolts/nuts holding it onto something else (which im guessing is an extention of the frame designed to give it more support). I did not have a wrench small enough to get the nuts off, so I had to quit for the night. Im going to try to get this done tomorrow, and i think i know how, but im not sure if those are the only things holding it in. Is there anything else i need to know or am not aware of? Thank you in advance for any help, i am in a little bit of a situation with this and need to get it done tomorrow.

Having the replacement starter will help to find hidden mounting holes.
