Last year I took my Sunfire in to get the A/C recharged, afterwards the A/C worked fine for about a week. The mechanic said there is a slow leak and the kit they used to fix the leak did not work. Can I replace o-rings or bad hoses inorder to fix the leak or will I be searching for a needle in a hay stack?

have them put dye in the system and recharge. so the next time, they'll be able to locate exactly where it's leaking.
