Hi. My 1998 Pontiac Sunfire has developed a problem when turn signals/emergency flashers and automatic door locks do not work for a periods of time. The fuses are OK, besides they seem always to fail simultaneously with no pattern. And just as simultaneously they come back up. Any diagnosis? Thanks>

Those two circuits dont share anything as far as power goes. Does this car have an aftermarket alarm? If so I would go straight to it. The installers usually use "scoth-locks" , they break the wire and can create continuity problems

Thanks for reply - no it does not have any alarms, either manufacturer's or aftermarket. There is a defenite dependancy in a way the turns signals/emergency flashers and powerlocks fail and then come back. Coincedence?

The only place I can see where they would cross paths is if the alarm blinks the lights. cant see in my diagrams where they share any power or anything else
