I have someone who knows how to change brake pads and is very good and doing it, but we can not find out how to get the two bolts that hold the brake pad cover or calliper as my mom says it is called, off. We have been trying a 3/8" socket wrench to try to get it off. We also tried a 3/8" Allen wrench. I think, when I stick my finger down in there it feels like it is six sided. Can you tell me what kind of bolt that is and what size of socket or whatever I need to get that bolt off?

It could be one of a few, standard hex head, allen wrench, or torx wrench. When you look at it, can you describe what it looks like?
