last night i was driving home from work and i noticed that my temp gauge indicated my engine was getting way too warm, like, i wasnt at the overheating mark, but it was above the 3/4 line. i had to walk home because i didnt want to warp the head.

this mornin i went out to check what might be wrong, i started looking at the rad (if this makes any difference i brought it to a shop yesterday to have the spouts soldered.) and i seen TINY TINY drops coming from the bottom rad hose, but it wasnt really dripping from the engine. it was just sitting there, i wiped it off and started to look elsewhere. i felt the hoses that are for the heater core, the one going from the engine is hot and other is kind of warm. so my dad and i think that my heater core might be plugged up...but not sure

driving it around a little today testing things, i noticed also the top rad hose is hot, like i can burn my hand if i hold too long, and the bottom rad hose is cold...
thanks for help in advance

Have you ever flushed the radiator? Have you replaced the thermostat?

Let me know.

Joe
PS: The heater core won't cause the engine to overheat.
