1986 Pontiac Sunbird TPS high volatge code

OK I need some info first. I need to what all have you done? What engine is in you sunbird and is it turbo or not? Do you have a digital multi meter to test sensor if needed? How old is the fuel filter and air filter and have you checked the fuel pressure? Get back to me with as much info as you can and we will go from there.

it is a 4cyl 1.8l no turbo I have replaced the tps sensor and it's wiring harness I have also had the tbi rebuilt new injector I do have a digital voltmeter the fuel filter is 2 or 3 months old it is a standard no turbo the air filter is 3 months old I have done a pressure test it it is fine i also had to replace the distributor not more than 3 days after that is when it started

Ok what i need you do is get you multi meter and set it on the 20 volt scale and get a paper clip and back probe the gray wire to the TPS and then with key on engine off what is the voltage there? Now key back off and back probe the dark blue wire to the tps and then hook up you multi meter again and then turn key on with engine off and check the voltage here now slowly lift the throttle to wide open. Make not of the closed throttle voltage and then watch the voltage as you lift the throttle it should steadly increase with no drops or clitches in voltage and then make not of the wide open throttle voltage. Get back to me with what you find here and we will go from there. I also would like you to check the vacuum hose to the map sensor make sure there are no cracks or breaks in it ok. Get back to me.

all hoses have been replaced when i back probe the tps it starts out at 4.6 and does not go up gray wire reads-4.96 not abel to get reading on dark blue(black) or light blue
