95 Pontiac GP Electric Cooling Fan

I have a 95 Pontiac GP with 3.1 V-6. When warmed to normal op temperature, only the left radiator electric cooling fan runs.

Is this normal? Or should both fans be on?

yo man i have the same car but its a 94 (grand prix 3.1l) and i have the same "problem". i heard the second fan is for exteam cooling. for example it will only turn on if the first fan is having trouble cooling off the engine. ive never over heated so i would say its fine and what i have heard is correct.
