HI MY NAME IS CHRIS. I OWN A PONTIAC G8 GT. IM WONDERING WHAT WOULD BE BETTER... A TWIN TURBO SYSTEM... A CENTRIFUGAL SUPERCHARGER SYSTEM... OR A STRAIGHT SUPERCHARGER SYSTEM... EACH IS ABOUT SAME PRICE.... THE TWIN TURBO WITH 9PSI RUNS ABOUT 557HP... THE SUPERCHARGER IS ABOUT 540 HP.... N THE CENTRIFUGAL SYSTEM CLAIMS 670 HP.... WHAT SHOULD I DO?[img:2913181a86]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/236616_CAR_SHOW_6_1.jpg[/img:2913181a86]

I would probably opt for the turbos, or supercharger. The CENTRIFUGAL sounds a bit much at 670hp.

These will add significant cylinder pressure to the engine, so you would be at the bleeding edge with 670hp.

In any case the kits should come with reprogrammed PCM, injectors, and fuel pump and possibly upgraded ignition or at least colder plugs.

I would also have the car tested on a chassis dyno, make sure your air/fuel ratio is not lean.

Any upgrades to the transmission? CV axles?
