i'm having major problems keeping a speedometer to work on this car.i'm going on my 3 rd one. i have change the gears inside the tranny and made sure the clip was good and well installed,but when i do get 1 going it doesnt last 5 minutes. then she will start to jump and next thing i know it read's to the max and drop down below the zero. i have a 305 v8 automatic. the speedometer is just cable nothing electronic. what can be causing this? desperate need of help
