my wifes cup holder was dangling and would not pull out all the way, i gave it a yank and pulled it all the way out, now how do i get it back in

Take the front panel off the cupholder, remove the storage compartment out from the bottom and insert the cupholder into the track from behind. If this doesn't work the whole assembly should be replaced. I would love to fix this for you myself as this is one of the jobs I enjoy doing.
