Had new brakes and rotors. Next day received message that "AWD is disabled". Mechanic who did brakes said there was no connection. Dealer said that maybe mechanic used wrong rotors. Said need to use rotors with reluctors. Does this make sense?

The reluctors are the ring gears, and if the new rotors don't have them it will disable the ABS, traction control and maybe the AWD, speed info is not input to the PCM without the reluctors..Have it rechecked!
