Water in floor of car

Module is 300.00-600.00 depending where you buy it, plus an hour labour to install and program. Which side of the vehicle is getting wet? This may not be the BCM but could be this problem:

Terminals in the Wiring Systems sub-section of the appropriate service information. WARRANTY INFORMATION
repaired under warranty, use: IMPORTANT:  Inspect the terminals at connector C305 for corrosion or spreading before replacing the fuel module or resistor card kit. Terminals can be accessed from underneath the vehicle.  Do not attempt to repair any spread female terminals as this will result in a return repair. The female terminal must be replaced.  If the terminals show signs of corrosion, determine the source of the water leak first and repair the water leak before repairing the terminals in connector C305. Refer to Corporate Service Bulletin Number 01-01-38-009A to determine a potential source for water in the vehicle interior. This affected 02-06's

I am having the same problem in our 2004 montana as well , but it's not on the driver's side , it's more on the passenger side as well . and the service engine soon light is on , no there are no leaks in the windsheild , it's not the ac either. Please help , thank you

grangyoung, have you had it scanned for both soft and hard codes to see what is causing the CEL?

Check for missing grommets or plugs in the bulkhead between the passenger and engine compartments. Next, check for missing grommets under the plastic trim panels down by the feet, both in the sides of the body and the floor.

Knowing the codes might help give you an idea as to where the leak is.

I have been having a wet floor, ever since we started using our A/C. It gets really wet in the foot space where the drivers feet are. Can anyone tell me where the drain is located.

I just took the mats out to sweep the van and noticed that mine is that way too. Any ideas????

There is a drain tube for the AC should be on passenger side of the firewall. down by floor . Clean it out you should water come out with AC on.

THe front driver side and passenger side carpets get soaked.

the tube that lets the condensation out is clogged... when our ac is on for a while, and you park the car, do u get a puddle of water under the car??? if not, bring it to a garage, and have them clean out your drain tube for your condensation from the ac... black hose located on the firewalll.

whenever it rains, there is water on the driver side floor. Carpet and padding wet and wires casings too. Van had been looked at by GM dealerships and multiple mechanics. No leak can be found. We have even gone outside as it is raining to look for the source of the water entering the driver side floor. no leaks have been found, but the floor is still getting wet. No one can find the source. Any suggestions?

Take a garden hose and spray it at the windshield you will be able to see the water leak which will probably need to reseal the entire windshield which means replacement. Here is how you remove the wiper arms.

Pull upward on the arm while tapping on the pivot shaft.

when the defrost is on, the driver side floor gets wet. It doesn't matter if it is on the warmest temperature, or a cooler on, or what speed the fan is on, or if the setting is on strictly defrost or floor/and defrost, the floor gets wet extremely wet.. It haas been looked at by gm mechanics and many other ase certified mechanics. No one can figure it out. Ac drain is clear and heater core is good..

They are missing something. There is nothing else that would cause it to get wet. Tell me, is it water or coolant on the floor?

It is just water. No one can see the leaks or where it come in from

There is a collection tray for the water to enter and then drained. It must be cracked.

This has nothing to do with when it rains, does it?

Flood waters got up to the bottom of marker lights in front. After the water went down I went out to see if it would start. Took off the air filter. There was a water line half way up the filter. It cranks over but no spark. Looked at oil and it looks clean. What do I have to do to get my car started? Possible problems. Looks like I had about 6 inches inside the van.

If the water was that high, you have a lot of work ahead of you. You are going to have to take every connector apart and blow all the water out and grease the connector. The module are most likely finished but dry everything out with a hair drier. Change the oil and fluids. It will take you a while but it could run by the time you are done.

The carpet is very wet under the drivers feet. The water is clean and does not smell like antifreeze. Could the air conditioner condensate line be plugged? How is this accessed or what should I check?

How do I find and clear the air conditioner condensation drain? Evaporator condensation is draining into passenger compartment.

The drain tube comes out of the firewall on the passenger side or the center section. You can use a coat hanger or other type of wire to run through the drain tube. There should be a 90 degree elbow on the drain tube that faces down. Be sure to put it back on.
