factory alarm goes off every time a door is opened, and can't be shut off. It stops on its own after 2 minutes or so. I would like to either disable it or fix it. I dont care which.

To the best of my knowledge, it can't be disabled. To make matters worse, dealers are the only ones that have the proper test equipment to check them to determine where the problem is coming from. Therefore, you will need to take it to a dealer to have the problem repaired.
