OK so i closed the hood of my car but didnt put the bar to hold the hood up in its proper place so when i closed it closed, but it didnt close completely, the bae was in top of a piece of metal so now it cant move neither can i open my hood becasue when i press the release button it says it opens it but it doesnt......

H there, if the bonnet is locked down and jammed, you may be able to trip it from under the car reaching up with a long lever, also have some one press down on the lock while you try the release some times this works as well.
