How do you change a thermostat in this vehicle?

Changing the thermostat is not that hard once you do it. Remove the coolant jug, the air cleaner and cover. Itmakes it easier to get to if you remove the throttle body, and loosen the metal coolant pipe that crosses the front of the motor. I always had to use a wrench from the back side to get to the back bolt on the thermostat housing because of the exhaust pipe in the way. Make sure the thermostat doesnt drop out of its groove when reinstalling. It is very easy to get it caught in between the housing and engine without knowing.
