I am secretly (without hubby knowing) coming in to ask what went wrong with my husbands car repair. I have a 97 Grand Prix with 67,000 miles. The front struts seemed to be going so my husband decided install them himself. While installing he noticed the rocker arm seemed a bit loose and tightened it up. When I went to use the car for one quick errand I noticed a burning smell and also noticed the car doesn't coast and acceleration seems slightly more difficult for it...almost like the brakes were slighly on. I can't see any leakage/drops on the cement and can't seem to tell where the burning smell is coming from. No warning lights have come on either. I only used the car once and am too afraid to drive it again.....so what did he do wrong/what could have gone wrong in the process and what could be the
burning?
Thanks much if you answer this....Carri in WI

...for anyone who tried to figure out what happened...twas not my hubby. To readjust my brakes on my grand prix you set the emergency brake and release...which I had done and thought no way could it have been that that I do it all the time and my husband just worked on the car. Well after calling around I have been told that my brakes are probably "stuck" now.
