2006 Pontiac Grand Prix, 14,000 miles, V6 engine.

My accelerator has a very slight stiffness/creakiness to it. The dealer checked it out and assured me that it is not a problem, but didn't fix it. Although this is not a safety problem, it is very annoying to have a slightly creaky, "notchy" accelerator when I press on it. Is there any way for me to lubricate this, somewhere, with some WD-40 or something? What would you recommend?

Thanks a lot!

WD-40 is more of a penetrant, try a spray on silicone lube, will work better for your need
