I have a 1993 pontiac grand prix with 3.1 engine. Not sure how many miles as the odometer does not work. My problem is that the car will start ok adnwill run fine for the first 20 min or 15- 20 miles, but then it will start to sputter, and when I slow down to stop it will turn it self off. When i bought it I had the ignition module replaced and a new thermostate put in. At first we thouhgt was just over heating but that does not seem to be the problem. What is something that could cause the problem,Normally it does it after it has been sitting for a while w/o beign driven. I have put dry gas and also fuel injector cleaner in but does not seem to help any.
