2005 Pontiac Grand Prix 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

the "check gas cap"waring comes on our display.the cap is on tight.even if the car is cold or warm,the waring light still comes on.

There is either a problem in the EVAP system, or the cap is not sealing properly.

I would start cheap and replace the cap and erase code (some autoparts stores can do this).

If light comes back on, have car scanned and get specific trouble code.
