Electrical problem 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 115000 miles

Last weekend this car began blowing the Parking Lamp and the Turn Signal/Hazard warning lamp fuses. I've replaced all the lamps (and the fuses still blow. My thinking is that the Parking Lamp Relay coil is shorted as that is the only other active component in the circuit. However, I can't find the relay.

It is listed on the diagram for the Instrument Panel Fuse box, below a line on the chart with several other relays. The relay is not physically where the diagram indicates. Can you tell me where to find this relay in a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP? My guess is it's buried under the dash somewhere.

Hello,

It says the relay is located in the glove box fuse panel. Here is a guide and some diagrams (below) so you can check it out and get the problem fixed.

Yeah, that's the same diagram that I have. Trouble is it doesn't do anything to tell you that the stuff below the line is actually mounted on the back of the fuse panel. You have to get to the panel from under the dash, remove one bolt and a fastener, then you can lift the fuse panel out from the passenger side door area. Underneath is are the components. Took me a while to figure it out.
