Car listed above is a six cylinder front wheel drive automatic.

While driving my ABS and traction control service lights come on. Then go away when the car is turned off , but will come on again in the same manner on next trip.

You will need to get the ABS system scanned with a chassis scanner. ABS codes are "C" codes and autoparts stores can only scan "P" Powertrain codes.

Hello,

Most of your more higher end code readers will scan abs systems generally the ones $100.00 and up. Here is a screenshot of one that AutoZone offers currently. One common thing that will trip the ABS light to go on and off is a failing wheel speed sensor. If one one them has a poor signal the light will come on sometimes. If its has no signal the light will always be on. You may have corrosion at the plug or dirt build up on one or more of them. Some of the parts stores do scan for free with a better scanner that will read ABS just give you local stores a call and ask if theirs does.
When you get a code let us know what it is and we can help you handle the issue.

Hello, I'm Danny.

What we ask you to do is perform a CAN scan to retrieve all code information from your car. A CAN scan will test all the systems on your car including the abs and traction control lights you've mentioned. Here is a tutorial showing what is involved for a CAN scan:

After performing this procedure get back to us with all stored code information and then we can properly diagnose these issues with your car. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
