There is a thu,p noise that happends when a bump in the road is hit. It seems to happen most ofter when the drivers side front timre hits a bumpor pothole as opposed to when both tires hit. There is no shaking or vibration while driving and no other apperant problems besides this. Any idea what it might be?

Raise car, put on stands. Grasp tire and push/pull both horizontally and vertically, if any movement then possible wheel bearing, ball joint, tie rod, control arm bushing.

Check CV boots for any signs of leakage or cuts/rips in rubber boot.
