Car makes a humming noise at 30 mph and up, but upon deceleration still hums below 30mph. All fluids great, but P.steering little low. Filled up and still noise persists. Just had new tires and brakes few months ago, problem started last week. Any suggestions? Hum does not get louder or decrease when hard steering and does not appear when stopped and revving engine at all. Also stays on when coastingdriving in N, D, and low gears. THANKS!!!!

You sure it not a front hub bearing? Try quickly turning the wheel left and right while it's making the noise, if it increases and decreases in intensity, it probably is. If it increases as you turn left, the right bearing is bad, and vice versa.

The noise does not seem to come or go or is dependent on any steering made. Any other suggestions or maybe rotating the new tires??? thanks matt

If it seems to be comming from the engine itself, check the serpentine belt and the idler, tensioner alt, PS, and a/c pulleys for any binding by turning them by hand.
