I am replacing the brakes on my 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix, 3.8 supercharged. I pulled the cailper slide bolts and set them to the side. Getting ready to reinstall them, I cleaned them off to regrease them. Thats when I noticed that they are two different types of slider bolts. One is thinner shafted with a rubber type bushing on the end. The other is thicker shafted the entire length, without a bushing on the end. They looked the same when I took them out and they were covered in grease.
So, which one goes on the top and which one goes on the bottom? or does it matter?
Really would appreciate the help.

Hey Rich,

The rubber washer bolt goes on the bottom of the caliper which is used to reduce vibration when the brake are applied.

Please let me know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Best, Ken
