Starting 2 weeks ago my vehicle air conditioner began blowing hot. I asked my father, and we believed it just needed to be juiced up. We added some freeon, and we even added the stuff to check for leaks. It worked great. Starting about 3 days ago, the air conditioner would only blow cold on the highest setting. I took it to a mechanic and he said my Blow motor resistor had went out. After paying 80 bucks, I got it replaced yesterday. All afternoon yesterday and part of this morning, it blew cold on all settings. Then, smoke started coming from all of my vents. It has a strong burnt smell that still lingers on me after leaving the car. It stopped blowing when I turned off the air conditioner. Does anyone have any idea what could cause this? I'm hoping to go back to the mechanic today, just worried about going to same one. Thanks!
