2001 Pontiac Grand Prix Rear left wheel rolls in reverse bu

The rear laft wheel locks up when I try to put the car in drive. It rolls fine in reverse but when I go back to drive only the left one locks up. The rear right works just fine. Is this somehow related to the parking brake? I pushed down on the parking brake and then pushed again to release multiple times but it still would not move forward. When I had it pushed down it would not go in reverse or forward. When I released it only the left rear wheel would not move forward.
