Noises problem
1999 Pontiac Grand Prix 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
i recently purchased a 99 grand prix and i think there is a problem with the crank pulley, i watched a youtube video and it sounds the same as the noise that i am hearing from my car. there is a loud squeak coming from around the belt area and it doesn't come on as soon as the car is started but once running for about 20 mins it starts. there is a loud squeak and it last for about 15 secs. then stops and starts again a few mins. later. does this sound like the right thing to you? can i continue to drive the car? what damage can happen if i don't get this fixed? do you know to how much it would cost to repari? thanks for you help.
