Engine Performance problem
1997 Pontiac Grand Prix Front Wheel Drive Automatic
I was coming home one night, and when i pulled in the driveway, my wheel was hard to turn, and i figured it was low of powersteering fluid. When i went to start it up the next morning it wouldnt crank, so i figured it was either the alternater or the battey. I had someone take the alternatter off, and i went to get a test on it and they said it was good. So it ended up being the batteria bad. So i got a new battery and it cranks up but the rpm, jumps real high and goes real low then real real real high.. did the alternater get put on wrong, or is their a wire crossed in it somewhere???
