The driver's side power window will work and then stop working. Then you let it sit a little bit and it will work again. I checked the control plugs and theya re fine and the passenger window works fine(using the control on the drivers side. Any ideas?

I have the same problem with my 96 GP SE 2 dr. Mine used to be more apt to act up when it was cold or damp and it would work after I hit a bump or opened and shut the door. But now none of that helps. I believe its a bad window motor that has some loose wiring or is just tired. Hell its only 13 years old. I need to get her fixed before winter hits so I'm not out there fixing it in the cold. and Its really embarrassing to have such a good looking car but the window chooses not to work at the bank window or drive through resturant. Maybe we can get a discount if we both buy one together like 2 for one deal!
