1992 Pontiac Grand Prix problem car getting fire

1992 Pontiac Grand Prix 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

car died going down road. would not crank again. took it to 3 different places to put on machine. machine said it was fuel injection module. put 3 different new ones on thinking each one was bad. car still ill not start. there was a smoking in steering but could not find any reason for it to smoke. car is not getting any fire. put new ignition control module on. car does not have crank shaft sensor or timing chain sensor that i can tell. please help . i am on a fixed income. low and having to try to do this myself. running out of ideas for this. this is my only transportation

Ok lets get some info first what all have you done or checked? Does the battery have the 12 volts needed? Is the car getting spark from the spark plug wires? Get back to me and we will go from there.
