I bought my 96 Grand AM Quad 4 used a few months ago. After I start driving the ABS and ETS lights illuminate on the dash. The brakes pedal feels fine to me but doesn't cause as much braking as it should. It feels as thought the front brakes are not working at all. Also I have noticed that when driving on wet or sandy roads and TRYING to stop quickly the rear brakes will skid. I figure I'll try replacing the rear pads,drums, and return springs....but could the problem be a proportioning valve or master cylinder?
