Noises problem
2002 Pontiac Grand Am 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 100k miles

I replaced both wheel bearings no change.Noise starts at about 20 mph. When wheel is turned to right noise gets louder.Right side tie rod is a little loose.Would this cause humming noise though?CV boots are in good condition,so are brakes and rotors, ball joints etc.Can not see tire rubbing anywhere.Could cv shaft still be bad. Thanks

A loose tie rod will cause toe alignment to be off and could cause humming.

Start by replacing tie rod end.

Try this also:

Raise car, put on stands. Grasp tire and push/pull both horizontally and vertically, if any movement then possible wheel bearing, ball joint, tie rod, control arm bushing.

Check CV boots for any signs of leakage or cuts/rips in rubber boot.

Mark the tie rod end so you can get it close to alignment, but you should get the toe checked at an alignment shop.
